I am so bad at blogging...but I found out today that people really do read my blog sooo.
I arrived home for the summer on Saturday evening. We drove from Oklahoma City to Wichita, Kansas where we stayed the night and then went out to breakfast with a friend. Then we stopped in Independence, MO to look at the Truman Library then came home.
The semester went well, I lost 10 pounds this semester in addition to the 15 I had already lost in college. God is so good to me. Each day I learn how much more God has supplied and been with me. I hope all is well with my internet friends and that each day you seek to be closer to God.
Today I was reading about William Borden's life. Here is his most famous quote:
"No Reserves, No Retreats, No Regrets."
This quote totally changed my life. What kind of life are you living for Christ?
This morning when I awoke I found myself thinking about how many times I get up but then I get down. Instability is a common problem amongst Christians. But in the midst of our inconsistency we have a rock solid God who never changes and that is how I make it through the day.
Isn't the Lord good? God has allowed me in the past day to invite three people to three different churches because they all live in three different areas. Not only in this country but across the world. Many times we over look the opportunity and task in which God has given you and me. He could have written the Gospel in the sky, but instead he chose to use men to propagate the Gospel. I am reminded "When all in life is done and past, only what's done for Christ will last." Make the best of the time you are given.
We are all given 24 hours what are you doing with your time?
